This month the Professional Development team celebrated 5 years of webinars with the first ever Oxford Webinar Day.
The event was a huge success with some 700 teachers connected throughout the day. We’re extremely proud of this achievement and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have attended webinars, whether you’re a webinar veteran or a newbie. We’d also like to give a special mention to all of our wonderful teacher trainers for their hard work and dedication over the past 5 years.
During this time, we have delivered around 200 webinar training sessions to teachers across Spain, as well as collaborated with almost 80 different teacher trainers and countless participants. Without you none of this would have been possible, so a huge round of applause to everyone who connects!
For everyone who attended at least one full session you were automatically entered in our special prize draw. And the winner of an Oxford Teacher’s Academy course is… drum roll please…
CONGRATULATIONS… ANA MARIA GRANERO!
from Escuelas Profesionales Sagrada Familia, Úbeda
During the Webinar Day we were treated to some comedic stories with Jamie Keddie, discussed the importance of 21st Century Skills with Sarah Hartley, solved Problem Based Learning with Mandy McLoughlin, and ensured the whole class is involved with Nina Lauder.
For OUP and the Professional Development Team it was a day to remember, and it wouldn’t have been a celebration without a confetti moment!
Remember, if you missed any of the sessions you can access the full recordings on Oxford Premium in the Professional Development section.
Until next time!
